Chelsea may lose Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after just very short time. They signed the midfielder this summer for €35 million from Leicester City. Now, 4 Premier League clubs are planning to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall reported to leave Chelsea next year
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall followed Enzo Maresca from Leicester this summer. He had a very good last season under the Italian manager. He was able to score 12 goals and pick 15 assists in 49 matches and hence Chelsea fans had high expectations from him.
But Dewsbury-Hall has failed to secure his place as a regular starter. It is due to the high competition currently at Stamford Bridge. He has played only 44 minutes in Premier League this season across three matches.
Due to lack of game time, Dewsbury-Hall is said to take exit route after a very short time. He is still only 26 years old and hence will want to play regularly. Earlier he was linked with Aston Villa who are now joined by three other Premier League clubs.
Which are the Premier League clubs interested to sign Dewsbury-Hall?
Firstly, as said above Aston Villa are keeping tabs on the midfielder. They want to compete for the top four position regularly and hence want to improve their squad. The player’s versatility has caught the attention on Unai Emery which can soon lead to move.
Now, as per CaughtOffside, Man United, Tottenham and Newcastle are also planning to make a move for Chelsea star. All of these clubs are also keen to improve their squad as they have been struggling to secure top four finish in recent years.
Man United will plan to bring Dewsbury-Hall as a replacement for Christian Eriksen. Eriksen will turn 33 in February and hence will require a successor very soon. Tottenham and Newcastle United will like to add more quality in the final third as they have limited options available.
Chelsea fans will be unhappy while hearing this news. They would have liked the player to stay a little longer and display his quality. But they do have to keep the player’s wish in mind. No player likes to sit on bench especially at this stage of career.
