5 must watch players for the Blues in the new campaign

Chelsea will be heading with a talented squad in the 2024/25 season. They had a rather poor 23/24 campaign. They would finish 6th in the Premier League. But, they lost their UEL spot to Man Utd. The Red Devils beat Man City to seal their UEL place. As a result, the Blues will be playing in the UECL now. They went on to lost to City in the FA Cup semi final. But, they would qualify for the EFL Cup final. However, Liverpool beat them in the final after extra time. As a result, they would ended the term without a trophy. But, they are hoping to turn things around. Here is the list of 5 players we feel that would be most impactful for them.

#5 Moises Caicedo

Caicedo was excellent in his Brighton days. But, he was unable to produce the same for the Blues in 23/24 campaign. He would make 48 appearances but had little impact. He picked up form in the final few days of the term. The 22-year-old scored his first goal in the final matchday. He managed 1 goal and 4 assists for them. We all know how dangerous Caicedo could be. He will surely play a key role if Chelsea have a successful 2024/25 season.

#4 Mykhailo Mudryk

The winger has failed to live up at the Stamford Bridge so far. As per en.wikipedia.org, he has bagged only 7 goals for the Blues so far. At the same time, he has already featured in 58 outings. Chelsea will want him at his best as they prepare for the 2024/25 season. We have seen how lethal his lightning pace can be. He causes a lot of trouble to the opposition as he runs with the ball. If he works on his finishing and consistency, he can become a vital player.

#3 Enzo Fernandez

We are yet to see the best of the world-cup winning Argentinian at the Bridge. He has all the makings of a top central midfielder. We have seen him play beautifully in his Benfica days. But, he has been unable to live up to his standards so far. His passing accuracy and set-piece taking abilities make him quite valuable to the team. Also, he has a great vision and is quite good on the ball.

#2 Christopher Nkunku

Nkunku was simply world-class for RB Leipzig. As per transfermarkt.co.in, he had 126 G/A in 172 appearances for them. Since joining the Bridge, he has not been equally great. He was also injured for a long time in the last campaign. His composure in front of goal, coupled with his dribbling makes him a menace to the opposition. Fans will be hoping to see him regularly in the starting lineup. Meanwhile, Chelsea will benefit greatly from his presence in the 2024/25 season.

#1 Cole Palmer

The Englishman has been an absolute sensation since joining. He simply had an amazing first year at the Bridge. Palmer was very impactful. He managed 42 G/A in 48 outings for the Blues. The Young Premier League Player of the Season will be the one to watch now. He also carried his good run of form with England at the EUROs. Chelsea will be hoping that Palmer keeps up his performances in the 2024/25 season as well. Fans will have high expectations heading into the new campaign. The Blues will be keen to make a return to the top 4. At the same time, they will be wanting to go all the way in the UECL 24/25. Fans have been left in frustration as of late. They will be keen to see their team play some good football.
