A Real Madrid player injury has put him out for 6-7 weeks

The injury nightmare for Real Madrid players is still going strong. With the exception of those that advanced far in the competition with their national teams, it was hoped that most of the players would have slept over the World Cup break and would return rejuvenated. But it doesn’t seem to be the case.

Two important Carlo Ancelotti team starters, David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni have recently sustained injuries that would likely sideline them for three weeks. And it now appears like Lucas Vazquez will be gone much longer.

According to Jorge C. Picon’s tweet, Real Madrid player Vazquez will be out for about 15 days. He, therefore, appears destined to sit out the opening leg of Liverpool’s round of 16 matchups in the UEFA Champions League.

Vazquez suffered an injury against Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal, which Real Madrid ultimately won on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after 120 minutes.

Vazquez’s injury is undoubtedly another setback for Real Madrid. The club doesn’t have much depth, to begin with.

Vazquez may not have started for the team, but he is still Dani Carvajal’s primary backup option at right-back and a solid one at that.

Will the Real Madrid player play

The fact that Real Madrid player has been utterly slow in its performances since returning from the World Cup break is the biggest cause for concern. And if this keeps up, it will be difficult to see them genuinely contend for any awards this year.

Los Blancos’ situation won’t get any better by the fact that one after another of their players sustains an injury.

Real Madrid’s nightmarish injury situation is still present. It was anticipated that the majority of the players would have rested over the World Cup break and would return revitalized, with the exception of those who went far in the competition with their national teams. It doesn’t, however, appear to be the case.

David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni, two crucial players for the Carlo Ancelotti club, recently suffered injuries that would likely keep them out for three weeks. And it now seems like Lucas Vazquez won’t be back for very long.

Vazquez will be out for roughly 15 days, according to Jorge C. Picon’s tweet. Therefore, it seems likely that he will miss the first leg of Liverpool’s round of 16 UEFA Champions League encounter.
