AC Milan and Juventus fighting for managers and their future

Allegri

AC Milan is giving Juventus a run for their money as both Italian giants compete for the signature of an elite manager. The Rossoneri have made it clear that they are looking for a new boss to lead the club back to glory. Sources close to the club have confirmed that they are looking to rival Juventus for the signature of one of the hottest managerial prospects in the world.

Sportwitness reports that Rosseneri are discussing a replacement for Pioli and already have someone in mind, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.

Max Allegri’s job at Juventus has frequently been connected to the Spurs manager, and if Milan is actually interested in hiring Conte, then could easily lead to a serious internal conversation regarding Allegri at Juventus, particularly if performance in Turin remains stagnant.

Since AC Milan and Juventus are both in bad form right now and both might theoretically miss out on Champions League football, the two teams would have to rush to replace their managers. Conte would obviously be a candidate for either position.

Much will depend on how Tottenham performs this season; they have been erratic, but it is evident that the supporters adore Conte, and there are no indications that the team wants to let him go.

The key question is whether AC Milan or Juve can actually match Conte’s goals. Particularly in the transfer market, he always wants to win quickly and shows little interest in a project.
