AC Milan are looking for a gateway to signing Stade Rennes right winger Jeremy Doku. The talented right winger showed some moments of brilliance in the World Cup even after a disaster class by Belgium. However, reports from Calciomercato.com speak about Milan’s meeting with the agency Stellar giving them the opportunity to sign Doku.

Doku displayed a match-winning performance against Italy in the European Championships which grabbed Milan’s attention. Doku as a teenager scored 6 goals and 7 assists for Anderlecht. After moving to Rennes, he scored 4 goals and assisted 6 in overall 65 games. In the midst of Milan’s forwards struggling to convert goals, Jeremy Doku is what AC Milan needs at the moment. However, they are still looking for the possibility of the Belgian youngster joining the club next season.

Clubs that might be interested in Jeremy Doku

Although Doku possesses a contract until 2025 various clubs will grow for the playmaker starting in 2023. Liverpool are one of those clubs heavily tipped to go for the Belgian right winger. However, Napoli and Juventus are also in the race for the Rennes forward. Liverpool have reportedly been keen to sign Jeremy Doku over the last two years. Meanwhile, AC Milan are currently monitoring the forward’s situation and might purchase the player once the ongoing season ends.

Even though Doku started in 39 matches for Anderlecht he didn’t exceed expectations as he scored only 4 goals and 6 assists.  Whereas after moving to Rennes, Doku only made 1 start and 5 substitute appearances in the French League. Now it is to check whether the big names will take the risk of going for the young Belgian.
