AC Milan is scouting a French midfielder

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

AC Milan is currently underway defending its Serie A title. The club is second in the league table with 33 points from 15 matches. However, the league title is out of sight as league leaders Napoli are way ahead with 41 points.

The results have, however, not demotivated the board as they plan to strengthen the team in the January transfer market. Milan is through to the knockout stages of the Champions League after a long time. The club directors have, therefore, prepared to approach the market accordingly.

One of the names that have introduced itself is Lyon’s French attacking midfielder Houssem Auoar. Houssem Aouar’s contract expires at the end of the season, and it doesn’t seem like he will be close to agreeing on a new deal. Therefore, Milan has been connected with a move for the midfielder on several occasions by outlets in both France and Italy.

AC Milan has an opportunity to sign Auoar

Auoar’s current deal is set to expire next season and as per reports, he has no interest in renewing it. According to reports, the midfielder is looking for new experiences abroad. This I where AC Milan comes in. The player’s family has let the Italian giants the opportunity to sign the player. The club is also said to be interested in him. AC Milan needs a creative profile and Auoar can provide exactly that.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan is prepared to make a serious approach for Aouar in January to outbid their rivals for his services. The club is convinced that a deal can be struck and has prepared an $8 million offer for the Lyon midfielder.

In particular, Milan has their eyes on three players for the January transfer market: Noah Okafor, Houssem Aouar, and Hakim Ziyech, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. And Paulo Maldini will approach accordingly.
