AC Milan may look to offload 3 youngsters to raise funds this summer

Another day, Another strategy by AC Milan to grab the best deals of the window. Milan continues to toy around with the contracts of their players as they now play to sell 3 young players. Hakan Calhanoglu’s departure has got the club looking at all means to sign more players.

Mattia Caldara, Andrea Conti, and Samu Castillejo were already on the leaving list and now 3 more names join it. Jens Petter Hauge, Tommaso Pobega, and Rafael Leao are the new batches of possible exits-for-money. All 3 have attracted interest from other clubs and the moves seem likely.

Milan have many targets this window. They have specified 6 major positions as their top priority without ignoring others. Every signing they are planning averages around €20 million. They lost a chance to scrounge up some money through Donnarumma’s imminent move. However, the Italian stopper did not extend his contract and is set to leave for PSG as a free agent.

The 3 musketeers of AC Milan

Petter Hauge spent the season at Milan scoring 2 goals in 18 appearances. Tommaso Pobega spent last season on loan at Spezia bagging 6 goals. Meanwhile, Rafael Leao has had a decent season at Milan scoring 6 and creating 6. One of his strikes is now the record for the fastest goal in Serie A history.

Milan should be able to raise at least around €50-60 million from the 3 players. Hauge and Pobega would value between €10-20 million and Leao should easily go above €25 million. All of them are 21-years-old and a move would beneficial to shaping their careers.

Raising money for a stronger squad

AC Milan have already made contact with most of the players they want to sign. They secured the transfer of Fikayo Tomori, a keen target. Mikkel Damsgaard is another player on their radar along with Domenico Berardi.
