AC Milan Star is Likely to Make a Comeback Against Juventus

Theo Hernández

AC Milan star left-back Theo Hernandez suffered a thigh injury just before the international break against Napoli. France national team coach Didier Deschamps had called him up for the France squad. Unfortunately, he could not participate in any of the scheduled Nations League games. Lucas Digne replaced him.

According to rumors, Theo Hernandez will be prepared for the Juventus match. Due to a thigh strain, he sustained in the final game before the first international break, the fullback missed the previous two games. His examinations revealed a strain in his lengthy right adductor. According to Tuttomercatoweb, he fully resumed training on Thursday and should be ready for the game against the Old Lady. But it’s unclear whether the coaching staff would give him the go-ahead immediately away or if they’ll exercise caution.

AC Milan has to do with a backup left-back

In his absence from the Milan team, Pioli has called upon Fodé Ballo-Touré. Theo has been involved in three goals in the nine games he has participated in this season. He has scored once while assisting another two.

The Frenchman has been a revelation in Serie A ever since he joined AC Milan from Real Madrid in 2019. His attacking play was fundamental as the club went on to win the Scudetto last season.

Fode Ballo Toure is a 25 years-old Senegalese left back. He is usually the backup option for the club. In the absence of Theo Hernandez, Pioli has called upon him to perform.  His performance against Premier League giants Chelsea on October 6th displayed a worrying sign for the Milan supporters. Milan lost the game 3-0. Reece James and Raheem Sterling ran down Fode Ballo frequently on his flank.
