With Hakan Calhanoglu’s exit, AC Milan looks to Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig to fill in the void. Milan are now without a No. 10 and the Austria international could be a perfect choice.

RB Leipzig have Sabitzer available for transfer and would accept between €15,000,000 to €20,000,000 for him. The playmaker has a year remaining on his current contract. This indicates that he could leave for a cut-price fee.

Antonio Vitiello reports that AC Milan have added attacking midfielder Marcel Sabitzer to their wish list to replace Hakan Calhanoglu.

Sabitzer is capable of contributing creatively in attack while also tracking back and offering defensive cover. These, among other qualities, potentially make him an ideal stand-in.

Leipzig are willing to cash in on Marcel Sabitzer this summer. The Austria international will be allowed to choose where he wishes to continue. Arsenal and AS Roma, alongside AC Milan, have emerged as suitors for his signature. Milan’s prospect of Champions League Football could be a factor in enticing the 27-year-old to move.

Sabitzer is not looking to renew his contract at the club. This could prove to be huge in terms of the Rossoneri pulling off the signing. The situation has attracted a significant number of clubs in Germany and Italy.

AC Milan are however, a bit restricted in the capital department. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have already expended €60,000,000 in the ongoing window.
