The problems for Arsenal continue as they are handed another blow. The International break keeps on handing Gunners bad news as two of their main starters have suffered injuries. Earlier it was Bukayo Saka whereas Arsenal have to not worry about their another winger Gabriel Martinelli.

In the last break it was club captain Martin Odegaard who got injured. Gunners missed him for many of the key matches and the wait to see him back on pitch has now extended. It is no wonder why Mikel Arteta hates these breaks as they are always being handed with bad news.

Earlier, Bukayo Saka suffered an injury whilst playing for England against Greece. He was looked upon by England staff at first but then was not seen travelling with squad for away game. Saka is back at North London and Arsenal staff is looking at his situation.

Arsenal handed another major blow as Martinelli suffers injury

As per TNT Sports Brazil, Martinelli has suffered a calf injury. He had an MRI scan and the results say that he has edema on hus right calf. Martinelli is doubtful for his next match where Brazil are set to face Peru. If the winger does have serious issues it will prove as a major setback for Arsenal.

Martinelli has played in all 10 matches for Arsenal this season. He was not able to have a very good start to the season but has recently had very good time. The Brazilian winger has scored 2 times and assisted 2 times so far this season.

All of his 2 goals and 2 assists have came in the last 3 Premier League matches. Another theory suggests that Martinelli has been unstoppable since Riccardo Calafiori started playing behind him. It will be interesting to see how this news affects Mikel Arteta. Right now, Gunners are in contact with the Brazil national team.
