Jakub Kiwior is linked with Arsenal exit due to lack of regular football. Now, Mario Giuffredi who is well connected with Napoli has urged the Italian club to sign Kiwior in January.
Jakub Kiwior joined Arsenal in January 2023 after impressing with Spezia. He had a very good time in Italy and hence promised a bright future. But, it did not went as per the plan after moving to North London.
Kiwior was unable to get into the starting eleven ahead of Saliba and Gabriel. He was then used as leftback to cover for Zinchenko. But this season, Gunners have a lot of option in that position too.
Arsenal signed Calafiori who is viewed as main left back by Arteta. In addition, Jurrien Timber is also fully fit now and can play anywhere in defence. This has decreased Kiwior’s chances for playing even more and hence he is linked with an exit.
Agent urges Napoli to sign Kiwior in January
At the moment, Kiwior is being looked upon by lot of Serie A clubs. He is linked with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli at the moment. Juventus boss Thiago Motta has already worked with Polish defender and hence will look to reunite with him.
Mario Giuffredi is agent of many players at Napoli and hence is well connected with the club. He thinks that Kiwior will be a great option for Antonio Conte. He told Radio Kiss Kiss that if he had to decide in january, he would have taken Kiwior.
Kiwior could be a great addition to Napoli side who are on the top of Serie A table. He is only 24 years old and will enter the peak of his career soon. He can get regular football which is essential for his growth at the moment.
The deal will also be for the best interest of Arsenal. Gunners have many options and are packed in the defence. They have contract with Kiwior running until 2027 and hence are in good position to demand fair amount of money.
Attackers will be the top priority for Gunners in the next year. They will plan to make move for a striker and a winger very soon. As for the defence, they will be sorted once all players return from injuries.
