About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Sergio Aguero is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playing time under Pep Guardiola and is now considering a move to Barcelona. The Manchester City veteran is considering a move away to Catalonia.

It has also been reported that the striker had already let the new Barca President Laporta know about his interest. However, the English club are not looking forward to letting their all-time favourite leave.

Aguero is currently facing a lack of playing time this season only playing for 79 minutes out of a possible 630. Additionally, his contract is going to expire on June 30, this year.

Aguero – winning more trophies with Guardiola or playing with Messi at Barcelona?

According to Daily Mail, Sergio Aguero is ‘irritated’ whereas his coach Guardiola believes that the player isn’t at his physical best to play. There are growing tensions among both of them.

However, the club won’t be allowing their top goalscorer to leave, who had always been phenomenal when it comes to scoring some winning goals. He had just made 12 appearances for the current Premier League leaders across all competitions. Aguero joined from Atletico Madrid in the 2011-12 season to his current club, Manchester City.

Aguero had scored 256 goals in 382 appearances for the Manchester club. However, currently, Gabriel Jesus has been a regular instead of Aguero while the latter makes to the bench.

“They are all writing Barca, Barca, Barca. Let’s hold on a little, have a look. Stop. We are still with City.”Sergio Aguero said on Twitch

Sergio Aguero is currently valued at £35 million, a relatively cheaper deal for Barca. The Catalan club is also considering the likely transfers of players like Erling Haaland, Eric Garcia, and Memphis Depay among the notable ones.
