Aizawl FC vs Indian Arrows: Preview and Predicted Line-ups

With high morale, Aizawl FC will face the Indian Arrows today at Kalyani Stadium in the I-League fixture.

After winning their first match against Gokulam Kerala, Aizawl will look forward to grabbing more points in their next match, Aizawl FC have three points in two matches and are currently placed sixth in the I-League.

Whereas Indian Arrows haven’t secured a single point yet, and has lost against every single opponent they have faced. Indian Arrows are eleventh in the I-League table with zero points in three matches.

The Indian Arrows have started the worst amongst all the I-league teams they haven’t won or even drawn a single match. They were thrashed 4-0 in their last match against Punjab, Head Coach Venkatesh Shanmugam said:

“Things didn’t go in our way in the last match but the main point is that the boys get experience. We are a developmental team and it is important for the boys to develop.”

Aizawl FC on the other hand had a decent start with a win against Gokulam Kerala, the team was clinical. Goalkeeper Zothanmawia said,

“We are satisfied with how we have started the season but we will only improve from here. A win and a narrow loss is not a bad start to the season and we have to remember that we also have a game in hand.

“We look forward to continuing our winning streak and get three points against Arrows.”

Aizawl FC will have high confidence, and it will be a physically challenging game for the Indian Arrows.

After their clinical performance against Gokulam Kerala, Aizawl will maintain the same formation as well as the same team (4-3-3): Zothanmawia, Chhakchhuak, Lalfelkima, Kasagga, Laldinpuia, lalengmawia, Jaryan, Fanai, Ramhlunchhunga, Rammawia, Malsamzuala.

Indian Arrows will start the game with(4-4-2): S Singh, Thapa, T Bag, Castanha, Parray, Ketkar, Shabong, Patre, Sailo, G Singh, Thlacheu.
