Alejandro Garnacho is the first player to react to Erik Ten Hag not being sacked by the Man United board. INEOS have decided not to sack him and instead are going to make him sign a new contract.
Erik Ten Hag’s time at Manchester United has been a roller coaster of a journey. In the previous season, United were not up to the mark as they finished 8th in the league table. However, the win over Manchester City in the F.A Cup final helped them get European football next season. This changed the situation at Old Trafford regarding Ten Hag’s job.
Ten Hag is the first manager since Sir Alex Ferguson who has won trophies in back-to-back seasons. Ten Hag’s future at Man United completely dependent on the F.A Cup final. Some of the players thought that they would face a new manager at the start of the new season. But United believed in their current manager. Instead of selecting a new manager and starting all over again, they sticked with their existing manager and believed in his tactics.
Erik Ten Hag has given chance to many young players to showcase their talent on the pitch including many academy graduates. Some of them are Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Willy Kambwala. He believes that slow and long-term process will develop Man United at every level possible.

Players reacting on Erik Ten Hag staying at Manchester
It was a big surprise for many that Ten Hag will not be sacked. The fans backed him after the F.A Cup final and so did his players. The first player who reacted to this news was 19 years old Argentine winger, Alejandro Garnacho.

Garnacho has not written or uploaded anything but liking this tweet clearly stated that he was happy with the decision. Garnacho was followed by Willy Kambwala and Ethan Wheatley who showed appreciation to their boss.
Alejandro Garnacho played his debut under Ralf Ragnick. However, under Erik Ten Hag, he excelled at a very rapid rate. He has played 50 games all competition this season at the age of 19 out of which he has 14 goal contributions. He also won the ‘Goal of the season’ award with his bicycle goal against Everton. The Argentine winger has also been called up by his national team for this year’s Copa America.
Garnacho has been one of the most valuable units to play under Erik Ten Hag. Getting selected over set players like Marcus Rashford is big step for the Argentine youngster. However, after the Copa America, he expected to play at either of the wings. Ten Hag doesn’t want to limit him to one side only. Garnacho and Mainoo are seen as the two most promising youngsters that can help Manchester United revive back their glory days.
