Allegri to reunite with his former midfielder at Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly asked the Juventus board to bring back Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona this summer. As the Bianconeri boss wants to reunite with his former midfielder next season.

The Old Lady of Turin sold the Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder in a swap deal with Barcelona where Arthur came to the other side. However, the Italian boss does not fancy the Brazilian in his starting eleven.

Pjanic has not had a great time in La Liga for the Blaugrana. Ronald Koeman went with Sergio Busquets and Frankie De Jong in the middle of the park. And it has been hard for the Bosnians to break into the starting eleven.

The 31-year-old midfielder made only 13 starts this season in all competitions. And failed to register a goal or assist at this time. He currently has a contract with the club until June 2024. However, if Juventus appear with a good offer then Barcelona will be more than happy to sell Pjanic this summer.

Will Juventus buy Pjanic just after selling him last summer?

According to todofichajes, the return of Allegri could open up the possibility of a summer deal where Pjanic could return to Juventus. But, it is not definite yet.

The report claims that the new Bianconeri boss called Pjanic to convince him of a bizarre return to Turin. As the midfielder could find first-team football yet again at Allianz Stadium which is hard to come by at Camp Nou.

Barcelona would be happy to let the midfielder go on loan this summer. If Juventus pay the full salary of €8 million a year. The Blaugrana want to see him play first-team football which will increase the transfer value and they will sell the midfielder in 2022 with a bigger transfer fee.

It will be interesting to see what will happen with Pjanic this summer. As he is not playing football in Barcelona. And it will be a good idea to reunite with his former boss Allegri under whom he had his best time in his professional football career.
