Alvin Ayman getting closer to joining Liverpool?

Throughout the transfer window, there is a new link in the market, linking a new player to a new club. Some of them actually happen while some just end up as a rumor. As a new day arrives, we have another transfer news on our hand. Current Wolves player Alvin Ayman could join Liverpool which could benefit Bradford City. Alvin is a 16-year-old defender, who is also capable of playing in a midfield role. He has been linked with Liverpool throughout this transfer window.

A report revealed that several Big 6 teams in the premier league were interested to sign the youngster. Now it seems like Liverpool are way ahead in this race and can land this signing. The youngster joined Wolves last year only from Bradford City.

However, now with a £1.5 million move to Liverpool is appearing, Braford city could be benefitted from the deal and can leave with a good amount. The Telegraph reported that the amount Liverpool will pay for the youngster, a huge portion of it can go towards Bradford city. This is purely because of a sell on clause that was included in the deal by Bradford when the youngster joined Wolves.

As of now, no bids have been received by Wolves but Bradford city are closely monitoring the situation and are anticipating a deal which will benefit them. Bradford already has past experience of profiting from their Academy Graduate who have excelled in their individual career. In 2019, Olie McBurnie made Bradford city a profit of £2 million when he joined Sheffield United.

Other youth academy graduates include- Victory Musa at Manchester united, Sahil Bashir at Brighton, and Alfie Bradshaw at Nottingham Forest. Bradford could make huge profits on these players in the future because of a sell on clause they included in their deals to their respective premier league clubs.

Wolves highly rate the young defender. Alvin was also a part of the travelling squad when Wolves went to Etihad stadium to play against Manchester City. Even though he wasn’t on the bench, getting included in the travelling squad is a big thing at this age.

Alvin’s special trait is his positional versatility. He can fluidly play in the defensive position and also can execute the roles of a midfielder if asked to play in the center. Furthermore, his playstyle of playing in the left side of the defensive mid pairing makes him even more ideal for Liverpool.
