Amorim Targets Jobe Bellingham in Man Utd Double Midfield Raid

As per reports, Manchester Utd are stepping up their chase to land exciting young talent Jobe Bellingham.

Amorim Eyes Jobe Bellingham as Midfield Priority

It is reported that Ruben Amorim’s side has ambitions of signing Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland. Bellingham is a 19-year-old midfielder and the brother of Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham. He has shown out in the championship this year winning Young Player of the Season. He has managed to score four goals and register three assists in 40 appearances.

With that said, his powerful box-to-box presence and high energy, style of play, that is getting all the excitement. He’s viewed as a long-term midfield star. He has a £20 million price tag and three years left on his current deal. So, Jobe will be a bargain for the Red Devils if they can beat Crystal Palace to his signature.

Amorim sees the teenager as a key piece to revamp Utd’s midfield. The manager wants to bring some youth into the squad.

Utd Also Tracking Chris Rigg in Ambitious Double Deal

Bellingham isn’t the only Sunderland player on United’s radar. The Red Devils are also tracking 17-year-old midfield talent Chris Rig. He is another Black Cats player who has made an impression this season..

He has so far played 40 games for Sunderland. The player has hardly ever made an appearance as a traditional number 10. He has played as a winger and a deeper midfield player.

Chris has shown that he never stops running on the pitch along with a nice left foot. He could be a smart addition for Utd as they set about rebuilding the squad with young players with energy.

INEOS and Amorim clearly want to strengthen the spine of the group.Meanwhile, there are other transfer targets like Matheus Cunha, Liam Delap, and Rayan Cherki also in the mix.

Additionally, Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven already brought in. So, bringing Bellingham and Rigg would show the club’s commitment to a youth-driven rebuild. This could be the way Utd is in years to come.
