Another Liverpool Contract Problem is arising

Another Contract problem for Liverpool is arising, this being their fourth one of this season.

How are Liverpool so far?

Liverpool are the best club in the world right now and there is not doubt about it. However, there have bene a bit of inconsistent game play from their side. They have fallen off a bit recently. At the same time, they are sitting on top of the Premier League table as well. They are also in a good position in the UEFA Champions League table too. The team is also in the finals of the Carabao Cup as well. Recently they also exited from the FA cup as well. They lost to Plymouth Argyle. There have been several problems at the club recently. In their previous match against Everton, they ended the match with a draw as well. The referee, Michael Oliver made many controversial decisions. This led to red cards for Arne Slot, his assistant and also Curtis Jones.

Liverpool’s fourth contract problem:

There have been many problems about the contracts of the players expiring as well. Many rumours have risen about Trent Alexander Arnold leaving the club in the next summer transfer window. It is said that he will join Real Madrid. Mohammed Salah’s contract have not been renewed yet either. Virgil Van Dijk’s condition is also the same. When asked about it, he said he has not idea about the future at the club. He also said that the claims are rubbish that he may leave the team. Ibrahima Konate’s contract is also expiring by 2026 as well. It is said that he may leave the club as well. There are rumours about him joining Paris Saint Germain in the next summer transfer window.

Author’s Opinion:

I think this is a big problem for Liverpool to be honest. If they do not renew the contracts of these players soon enough, then there may be problems for Arne Slot’s tactics.
