Juventus are in a soup. They are not able to perform well. Juventus players are not able to give their best on the field for the club and Allegri is not able to encourage them.
Well, What is the problem?
Nothing is going well for Juventus this season. They lost an important encounter against AC Milan and were defeated by a weaker team Maccabi Haifa in the UEFA Champions League.
La Vecchia Signora (the Old Lady) is having trouble both on the field as well as off-field. Juventus is not only losing matches but they have also lost the intensity on the field. Most players are unhappy with how things are going on at the club.
All fingers are pointing toward their coach Massimiliano Allegri. He is trying his best to salvage Juve’s campaign, but constantly failing to produce results. Thus, he invited all players for a training retreat at Continassa.
Players think that this training retreat would not help them and is just a futile exercise. Also, a new crisis is brewing up at Fidanzata d’Italia (The Girlfriend of Italy). Most players believe that Allegri does not communicate with them enough. He does not seek a player’s viewpoint before and after announcing his decision.
This has translated into a series of weak performances by Juventus’ players on the pitch.
Can Allegri inspire his players to make things better for Juventus?
Juventus is currently sitting in 7th position in the Serie A table. The season has only just picked up the pace. I Bianconeri (the black-and-whites) is going to play against somewhat weaker opponents in the next few matches this month.
At weekend, It will play against Torino, followed by Empoli and Lecce in the Serie A. In the UEFA Champions League, it will play against the Portuguese club Benfica. But November is going to be tough as the Goeba will play against PSG in the Champions League followed by Inter Milan in the Serie A.
So, Juventus and their coach Massimiliano Allegri have no time to lose. They must discipline themselves to bring stellar performances this season which can help them to earn a place in the top four.
