Is Ruben Amorim good for Manchester United or are the players main problem for the club?
Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United:
Ruben Amorim recently arrived from Sporting CP to manage Manchester United. After a few matches where he won after struggling, they are now performing bad. I get that they ended with a tie against Liverpool and won against Arsenal in the FA Cup. Also, they won against Manchester City as well. However, they have been losing the rest of their matches.
This is why they are in that Position in the Premier League at the moment. Most of the players in the team are in the verge of leaving as well in fact after the arrival of Ruben Amorim. However, he may not really be the reason for their plans of leaving the club. The main reason is Ineos not caring about their young and talented players in the club. Sir Alex is also very unhappy about a lot of deals that Manchester United are looking forward to come in terms with.
FFP and PSR rules:
Manchester United also needs to comply with the Financial Fair Play rules and also Profit and Sustainability rules as well. This is why Manchester United are also thinking about selling a few players or considering to swap them instead of buying new players. Their financial condition is not really that great at the moment either. Manchester United are considering to sell their young talents which Ruben Amorim himself is not really happy about either. However, he also needs a few good signings in this transfer window as well such as a good striker and a wing back. Ruben Amorim have been changing a lot of tactics for every single match to win somehow. However, the players cannot keep-up their consistency for more than two matches as well. Ruben Amorim needs new names in the squad in this January transfer window.

I think Ruben Amorim is not really the problem for Manchester United, the players are. The Reds are struggling right now but the tactics does not really matter how good it is if the players cannot score goals. If the players cannot play according to the tactics then it will be very difficult for them to win games at the moment.
