William Gomes currently plays for Sao Paulo in Brazilian League. He is 18 years old and can play in variety of positions. He is very good when playing as a winger or as an attacking midfielder but can also feature as number nine when required.

Gomes has been able to break into the first team last year. He played 3 games foe Sao Paulo last year and has upgraded himself this year. He has played 12 games and has been able to find the back of the net 2 times.

All of his 2 goals have came in the League itself. Gomes has played 7 league games but has only started in 3 of them. He has played just 345 minutes but has been able to impact very highly whenever he has been handed a chance.

As per CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Brazilian winger. Sao Paulo can be open to sell their superstar if he receive a proper offer. The player too may be open to move as playing in Premier League will be a huge step up in his career.

Arsenal currently have the best chance to sign him. They are in desperate need of new attackers. In addition, they can guarantee Gomes with more playing time than that of Chelsea.
