Arsenal and Liverpool are both showing interest in Kenan Yildiz. Both clubs are keen to improve their respective attacking sides and hence may be seen making a move for young forward.
A little about Kenan Yildiz
Yildiz is a Turkish football player who currently plays for Juventus. He is only 19 years old and has already made 16 appearances for Turkish national team. He has been able to score 1 goal and pick 2 assists for his country so far.
Yildiz made his senior debut last season and played 32 matches for Juventus. He was able to score on 4 different occasions and claim his place as regular starter this season. He is very good with both feet and can play in a variety of positions.
Yildiz has scored 3 goals this season along with picking 2 assists in 12 matches. He came on as a substitute recently against Inter when they were losing 4-2. But, Yildiz had other plans and scored a brace to secure a valuable point.
Yildiz is currently rated at €40 million by Transfermarkt. He recently signed a new contract with Juve which keeps him at Turin until 2029. The Italian giants view him as an important player and are not willing to part ways him. But, two Premier League clubs are still showing a strong interest and may make a move soon.
Liverpool and Arsenal interested to sign Yildiz
According to CaughtOffside, both Premier League clubs are interested to sign Yildiz. They both view the young star as a player fitting their system and the player’s age increases the interest even further.
Gunners are keen to find a proper backup for Bukayo Saka. Yildiz has mainly played on the left side but can adapt and play equally well on the other wing. He may also be used by Arteta on left wing and make him regular starter over Martinelli.
The Reds on the other hand are looking at a future without Mohamed Salah. Salah is in his final year of contract and will need a proper replacement soon. Yildiz can be his long term replacement.
