Arsenal and Liverpool keen to sign Real Madrid gem

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with Arda Guler. Guler who joined Real Madrid just a year ago maybe tempted by a move. But the Spanish giants will not make it easy for any club and will surely have big demands.

Guler joined Madrid last year and became the European Champion in his first season at Spain. He missed many matches due to injuries but impressed whenever he got chance. The Turkish winger played 12 matches last season and was able to score 6 goals.

This season, Guler has played 11 matches but has only started 3 of those. He is finding it hard to get into the starting lineup. This has prevented Guler from having an impact and hence is still to register a goal or assist this season.

Madrid have a lot of options available upfront and hence it seems uncertain wheter Guler will become a regular starter or not. He was wanted by some clubs this summer but Madrid considered him untouchable. Now, it seems like Guler can be tempted to move away from Santiago Bernabeu to get more gametime.

Arsenal and Liverpool both interested to sign Guler

As per Caught Offside, Arsenal and Liverpool are keen to sign the Turkish winger. Both clubs have similar needs and Guler seems like a player who can fulfill them. But Madrid will try to make it hard and they will demand a hefty fee.

Gunners are looking for a high quality backup for Bukayo Saka. They have struggled in absence of Saka. Gunners are also unlikely to offer Sterling a permanent move. Guler can surely improve the Arsenal squad as he has all the right qualities to fit in the system.

Lastly, Liverpool are looking for the replacement of Mohamed Salah. Salah is in his final year of contract and is 32 years old. Guler who is only 19, may become a long term solution and end their winger search.
