Arsenal and Liverpool keeping close tabs on Takefusa Kubo
As per TBR Football, Kubo has been looked upon very closely by Arsenal and Liverpool. Along with them, Aston Villa and Newcastle United have also monitored him recently.
Kubo has a contract with Real Sociedad running until 2029. They have release clause inserted in his current contract. Kubo will cost any of the interested parties €60 million.
Kubo can be a very good addition to the Arsenal squad. Arteta can use him to rotate his main players Saka and Odegaard. In addition, he can try and use Kubo to replace Martinelli.
Gunners have a good relation with Real Sociedad. They signed Mikel Merino from the Spanish side this summer. Besides Kubo, they are also linked with his teammate Martin Zubimendi.
Kubo can have even bigger role to play at Liverpool. Mohamed Salah will be out of contract after this season. Salah also said recently that he is close to exit instead of stay at the Anfield.
This will open up space and Kubo can play in his favoured right wing position. He can be a long term replacement for Salah as he is just 23 years old and will enter the prime of his career very soon.
