Arsenal and Liverpool are two of many Premier League clubs interested to improve their attack next year. Some clubs may make moves in January whereas other will wait till summer. Now, Liverpool and Arsenal have both been linked with Rodrygo who currently has market value of €110 million.
Gunners are hoping to sign a striker due to the Gabriel Jesus failing to return in form. They may also be seen making moves for winger as Raheem Sterling is still not certain to join the permanently.
Liverpool on the other hand may be seen parting ways with Darwin Nunez. Nunez has fallen down the pecking order under Arne Slot. He has only played 5 league matches and has only started in 1 of them.
Arsenal and Liverpool both linked with Rodrygo Goes
As per a report from Fichajes, both of the Premier League clubs are interested to make a move for Rodrygo. The Brazilian international is still only 23 years old and has proven his quality on the highest stage.
Rodrygo has already won Champions League two times and can play anywhere in front. He was mainly used as striker last season but is currently being used as right winger. Madrid still consider him a key player and will do everything possible to keep him at Spain.
Earlier it was said that Rodrygo may not get enough gametime due to arrival of Kylian Mbappe. It seems like the Brazilian is being used less than last season. But he has still played 13 matches this season. He has also been able to score 3 times and assist 2 times in those games.
If Madrid do feel the need to part ways with Rodrygo, they will surely demand a hefty fee. Gunners and Reds may surely get a quality player with amazing versatility but they will have to be prepared to spend big.
