Arsenal is among other big clubs who have set their eyes on signing Paul Wanner. The youngster is currently on loan to FC Heidenheim from Bayern Munich.
Wanner who was born in Austria has represented Germany in youth levels internationally. The 18-year-old’s football career started with FC Ravensburg. He later moved to Bayern’s youth team in 2018. Paul is the youngster player in Bayern’s history to make the Bundesliga debut.
Wanner was called up by Bayern during the 2022 season. The regular players of the team had tested positive for Covid 19. Paul is also the youngster player in the German club’s history to make his his champions league debut at 16 year old.
He was loaned out to FC Heidenheim from Bayern for a season-long loan in June 2024. Wanner has scored four goals and provided two assists in seven games for the Bundesliga team. Heidenheim will soon begin its campaign in the Conference Cup. Wanner would most likely be a starter for the team.
