Arsenal boss keen to sign 2 Spain internationals this year

Arsenal are keen to sign 2 Spain internationals this year. Both of these stars are preferred targets of Mikel Arteta and one star is reported to have already agreed personal terms with the club.

The first star in question is Martin Zubimendi who was linked with move to Premier League in the summer. However, the deal never materialized as they player wanted to stay at Spain. Gunners then signed his teammate Mikel Merino.

Arsenal are again in need to sign midfielders as Jorginho and Partey are set to leave at the end of the season. They were once again linked with Zubimendi in recent days. It is now reported that, the 25 year old has agreed to join Gunners.

The North London club will need to pay €60 million to Real Sociedad. They will sign Zubimendi in summer as the Spanish side wants to keep him until the end of the season. Gunners are now planning to get the deal done for one more Spanish star.

Arsenal still keen to sign Nico Williams

Along with Zubimendi, his national team teammate Nico Williams was also on the radar of Gunners in summer. However, the North London club once again failed to convince the player and later had to sign Raheem Sterling on loan.

Arsenal are still interested to sign Nico Williams this year. The 22 year old has a €58 million release clause in his contract. Athletic Club will want it to be paid fully. In addition, they player earns a very high salary which is complicating the deal.
