Myles Lewis-Skelly can play against Wolves tomorrow itself. There is nothing serious in his scan. Saliba can also return tomorrow but if not, he will be very likely back next week. Hence, it is all good for Arsenal fans when it comes to defensive line.
Arteta about club’s transfer plans including loan signings
Later, Arteta was asked about Arsenal’s transfer plans this month. The Spaniard has already told on multiple occasions that they will be active in the market. However, there is still no activity from their side.
Firstly, Arteta said that they have lost two important stars – Saka and Jesus. He added that they are lacking goals, people & options and this is very clear. Lastly, he said that they are actively looking for right player and are working hard on it.
These comments suggests that there will be some activity from North London in final days of window. However, it will be a permanent deal if Gunners want to sign a star playing in Premier League. They already have 2 players on loan.
When asked about terminating loans of either Sterling or Neto, Areta said that they will not do it this month. Hence, the North London club will not be able to sign another star on loan unless he is playing outside England.
Lastly, Arteta was asked specifically about their top target Mathues Cunha. Cunha is said to leave Wolves this month and Arsenal are said to be frontrunners in the race. But, Arteta refused to talk about the Brazilian as he doesn’t want to talk about individuals. Arteta’s comments as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
