Arsenal completed their fourth signing on the deadline day

According to the reports, Arsenal have completed the loan move of Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea at the deadline day of this summer transfer window.

The last few days have been busy for the Gunners, they have recently signed a new midfielder Mikel Merino,

The fans have waited so long for this transfer to happen and the transfer happened just a few days before the transfer deadline day.

After the signing of Mikel Merino, the Gunners then focused on signing a new attacking players, they had a list of players they want to sign to improve the attacking side of the team,

But because of the shortage of time, they were unable to sign any players as they couldn’t able to agree on the terms of the player.

Just a day before the transfer deadline day, Chelsea offered Raheem Sterling to Arsenal on a season long loan

And the Gunners were in a desperate need of a new forward and they are getting a experienced forward in a loan deal, so they couldn’t able to refuse. Both the teams quickly sat on the tables for the negotiations and both teams agreed on the terms.

Arsenal might win the league with this transfer

The Gunners are one who wins the award for the most unexpected transfer, till the deadline day no one knew about the transfer or that it could happen,

Everyone thought that Sterling would either stay at Chelsea or might sold at another club,

But no one expected that that club would Arsenal, Chelsea’s main rival. The Blues have directly made their opponents stronger.

All the Chelsea fans are happy as they think that they have gotten rid of a bad player and he will be a burden for the Gunners, but we have seen what Mikel Arteta does with the players,

For example Kai Havertz and Jorginho. Both of these players lost their form at Chelsea and were unable to perform, but as soon as they moved to Arsenal their form they changed.

Last season, Kai Havertz played 37 games and scored 13 goals and gave 7 assists and in the 2022/23 season where he was playing for Chelsea he played 35 games and scored just 7 goals and gave only 1 assist. So it was a very big step for the player.

Now they have Sterling, the former Man City winger, his best career stats was at the time when he was playing for Man City

And if he can bring his form back then he can play a big part in helping Arsenal to win the league and helping them to defeat his former club.

Raheem Sterling can make a difference in Arsenal

It is a good for Arsenal as they got a player who is very experienced and knows how to win the leagues and he can be very helpful as he is the perfect replacement for Saka and Martinelli.

The gunners also improved the depts of their attack and can be useful in crucial situations.

Raheem Sterling is also very happy with this transfer and ready to prove himself to Mikel Arteta and wants to improve his form,

He also had a interview with the media in that interview when asked about the the transfer, he said it is an unbelievable feeling

And he is very exciting to play under Mikel Arteta and also ready for a reunion as it is not the first time Arteta and sterling played together.

Mikel Arteta used to be the assistant manager of the Man City under Pep Guardiola and in the city he coached Sterling at the time when sterling was the best of his career,

Arteta knows how to bring the best from Sterling.
