Arsenal dealt with another horrific injury blow

Arsenal have been handed another serious injury blow. The player joining the injury list is an attacker which means Mikel Arteta’s ongoing problems are now increased even more.

Gunners started this season with a hope to end their Premier League title drought. But, it has not worked out so far. The North London club has been hit by serious injury blows to their main stars. This has made it very hard for Mikel Arteta to make a difference.

Most of the injured stars are attackers. Gunners don’t have proper depth in final third and hence the injuries have costed them very much. As of now, Saka, Jesus and Martinelli are out with injury. Recently, they have been joined by yet another attacking star.

Arsenal handed yet another injury blow

Sami Mokbel has reported that Gunners have been handed yet another injury blow. This time it is Kai Havertz who was being made main striker by Mikel Arteta. This will make the already tough season even more worse.

Havertz has suffered a serious muscular injury. The issue is hamstring related as per the reports but there are still some more diagnosis unconfirmed. It is reported that the German was injured whilst high pressing training session.

Mikel Arteta will now miss all Havertz, Saka and Martinelli who were thei first choice front three. He has a major task ahead of him as there are no proper number nine available right now.

This should be a wake-up call for the Arsenal board. They should make some key signings as soon as possible. They should have made some in January itself, but instead ended the window without any new additions.

It will be impossible for Gunners to win the league title without proper depth and quality stars. Hence, they should go in strong after striker and winger this summer. We can surely expect some big moves from them after the end of this season.
