Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin pushing for a move to Inter Milan

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Arsenal‘s Hector Bellerin wants to make a move to Inter Milan. The Spaniard has been with the Gunners since 2011. He is one of the fastest footballers in the world with a top speed of 35.48 km/h. He has never established himself as a threat on the ball but his speed makes up for that.

A former Barcelona youth player, Bellerin moved to Arsenal in 2011. He has made 183 appearances scoring 8 times while providing 23 assists. He made his debut against West Brom replacing his current manager, Mikel Arteta. His skills made him a regular member of the squad, but that has not been the case of late.

Inter Milan won the Scudetto for the first time in 11 years. It was a team effort, starting all the way from the manager to the defenders to the strikers. Romelu Lukaku and Nicolo Barella might have been the only ones who crowned MVPs, but there were many other who got them the title. One of them was Achraf Hakimi.

Hakimi’s role at Inter

Real Madrid can be a very hard place to start one’s career. Hakimi was no exception. Even though he impressed coaches while coming up through the youth setup, first-team chances were slim. He made just 9 appearances scoring 2 goals in his first season. He moved to Borrusia Dortmund on loan and that is when the world saw the genius of Hakimi. After his loan spell, Inter Milan seized the opportunity to sign him for a five-year contract.

He has been phenomenal on the wings scoring 7 times and providing 8 goals in 37 appearances. He lived up to the expectation of being the highest paid player in the club. However, Inter have been working on cutting cost to overcome losses and have let go of some key players. Hakimi was one of them. This is one of the reason Antonio Conte left the club.

Bellerin wants to move to Inter

Arsenal are not the same club they were 5 years ago. Bellerin has been a victim to that. The fans do not have a positive opinion about the player and he is looking for a way out.

Bellerin does not want to complete the 2 years left on his contract and is pushing for a move. Arsenal are ready to sell him if they can find a replacement, most probably Ben White from Brighton.
