Arsenal unwilling to give up on Ollie Watkins

Gunners are still keen to land the 29 year old striker. As per Transfer Checker, they are ready to submit a new bid to Aston Villa. Villa are looking at many attackers across Europe to bolster their squad and hence can part ways with Watkins for right price.

However, Arsenal will need to submit a world-class bid for Watkins. Villa have recently lost their second striker Jhon Duran so they will try hard to not let Watkins leave at the same time. They will demand a hefty fee in order to part ways with 29 year old.

Convincing Watkins will not be too hard for Gunners. The 29 year old grew up as an Arsenal fan and earlier has said that he wishes to play for them sometime. It will be interesting to see if he can fulfill his wish in the coming days or not. The transfer window will close on Monday 3rd February.
