Arsenal face another blow as Ben White goes through surgery

Arsenal is to face another injury blow this season as Ben White has gone through knee surgery this week. The defender is expected to be on the sidelines for at least 8 weeks.

White has had a rough patch with injuries this season. In the initial part of the season, he missed out on important matches against Leicester City and Southampton. He returned to the pitch and contributed to the team against Inter Milan and Chelsea but it was evident that the defender was struggling.

He has been struggling with a knee issue and recently went through surgery for its treatment. The result of this surgery was successful, but it has put White out of playing time for quite some time. Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Ben’s injury and for how much time the fans will not see the Englishman on the pitch to football. London he said-

“It’s a little issue so we have to protect him”.
