Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Juventus forward. The highly rated young forward can cost Gunners around €60 million.
Arsenal are in search of more attackers and are already plotting moves. They have felt a need to improve their front line due to the deficiency in scoring this season. Gunners want to sign a striker along with a winger.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak. But the Magpies are demanding £115 million for the Sweedish international. This may prove too hard for Gunners to land him.
Gunners are already looking for alternative options and have many names on the list. Firstly big names like Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen have already been linked with the North London club from a very long time.
Recently, Mateo Retegui was linked due to his superb form this season. Now as per Todo Fichajes, Gunners are keeping tabs on one Juventus forward who they wanted to sign few years ago.
Arsenal keeping tabs on Juventus striker
As per the report, Gunners are keeping tabs on Dusan Vlahovic. Arsenal were first linked with Vlahovic in 2022 when the Serbian was plating for Fiorentina. At that time, Juve won the race for him.
Juve are finding it hard to agree with Vlahovic on a new contract. This will present other clubs with an opportunity to sign the 24 year old for €60 million. Gunners will view this as a very good option as the Serbian striker has been in a fine form this season.
Vlahovic has scored 9 goals and picked 1 assist in 16 games for Juve this season. He can be a very good addition for Arsenal side who are highly dependent on Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka for goals this season.
Despite the reported interest, Gunners have not made any move for the Juve striker. They will very likely make a final decision after looking at the all possible options. In addition, Mikel Arteta will have a big say as he will want a striker who fits his style of play.
As of now, Isak is still the top priority of the club. He is also being looked upon by Chelsea but both of the interested parties are unwilling to meet the Newcastle’s demand of £115 million. They both want to get the deal done at £80 million.
