Mbeumo have been on the radar of Arsenal from a very long time. The 25 year old has been superb this season. He already has 10 goals and 2 assists in 17 Premier League games so far. In addition, he is highly versatile and can play as right winger and striker.
Mbeumo is tied with Brentford with a contract running until 2026. The Bees have an option to extend for another year as well. But, it looks very likely that the 25 year old will move to a big club in the next year.
Mbeumo will be a very good addition to Arsenal squad. If they sign him in January, he can be a quality replacement for Saka who will miss until February. Later, he can can serve as a quality backup or compete with other stars for starting position. As of now, he will surely be an upgrade on Martinelli, Jesus, Sterling and Trossard.
