Arsenal in talks with RB Leipzig to sign ‘Sesko’ this month itself

Arsenal are in talks with RB Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko. Sesko has been long term target of Gunners and his magic can finally be seen in Premier League.

Gunners were first interested to sign Sesko in summer. They tried really hard to land the Slovenian but failed to do so. Instead, Sesko signed contract extension with Leipzig which extended his stay with the German club until 2029.

The North London club ended the summer window without signing a striker. However, this has not worked out as Gunners have dropped some crucial points this season. They are keen to improve the squad and sign a striker and a winger.

Originally, Arsenal wanted to sign a striker in summer. But, they have once again been hit by injury to Gabriel Jesus. This has forced them to enter the market this month itself and sign a striker. Sesko has once again become the topic of interest from the North London club.

Arsenal in talks with Leipzig for Sesko

Gunners had many strikers on their wishlist with Isak being their top target. However, it will require them to break the british transfer record to land the Sweedish striker. This has forced them to monitor other available options in the market.

Sam C has reported that Gunners are in talks with Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko. He added that the North London club wants to sign the 21 year old on loan with an option to buy. However, the German club wants to include an obligation to buy.

It has been reported that Mikel Arteta has already spoken with Sesko on many occasions. The 21 year old wants to finish this season with Leipzig but can leave if a convincing offer comes his way.

Along with Sesko, Gunners are also keeping tabs on Vlahovic. They will have a big decision to make very soon. As of now, we may very likely see a new face in Arsenal squad before the market closes.
