Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is in serious trouble as one more attacker has suffered injury. It is looking like a serious injury and the player can miss many games. This has made the current condition at North London club even more worse than it already was.

Gunners faced Manchester United last night in FA Cup fixture. They were unfortunate to lose against Red Devils on the penalties. In addition, they were hit with an injury to one of their players and that too attacking one. The player in question is Gabriel Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus’ injury looking a serious one

Gabriel Jesus has been linked with exit since a long time. He has fallen down the pecking order and rarely starts. However, he recently caught back his top form and was looking very good. This earned him starting spot last night.

However, Jesus suffered an injury in the 40th minute and needed to be replaced. Mikel Arteta has now spoken up about the seriousness of the injury. From the comments of the Spaniard, it is looking like a very serious one.

“Big worry. That’s my feeling. He had to come off on a stretcher with a lot of pain, touching his knee. It’s not looking good. I think it’s the other one. The worrying factor is the feeling that he had” – Arteta about Jesus’ injury via AFCstuff.

Now that Jesus will be sidelined for long time, Gunners should definately go and sign some top attackers this month. They already have some top players on their wishlist. Some of them have been long term targets.

Who are Arsenal targets?

Gunners are keen to sign a winger and a striker this month. For striker they are keeping tabs on Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Dusan Vlahovic and Alexander Isak. For winger position, they are keeping tabs on Nico Williams, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Matheus Cunha.
