Arsenal injury update: Odegaard to miss North London Derby

Arsenal will face their arch rivals Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday. They will travel away to Spurs stadium and hope to claim all three points. However, Gunners are worried due to the current injuries. Marin Odegaard is the latest addition to the long Arsenal injury list. He received an ankle injury while playing for Norway against Austria. The latest update reveals that Odegaard is very likely to miss the north london derby.

Martin Odegaard joined Norway national football team with a blow he faced against Brighton in the Premier League. However, he looked fine and even played the full match against Kazakhstan. He was then starter against Austria too. But this time he faced a serious injury. Odegaard got his foot stuck on the turf and then twist after the challenge from Christoph Baumgartner.

Odegaard was looking in pain and was unable to continue. This resulted in him getting medical help and subbed off in the 67th minute. Norway coach and doctor said that the injury looks bad. This has added to the ongoing worries of Mikel Arteta and Arsenal fans.

Arsenal to miss Odegaard for a month

Reports from Norway say that Odegaard could be off the pitch for atleast a month. He was seen to catch a plane back to London on crutches. Gunners will asses his injury and take the required action soon. But it is very unlikely that the Arsenal captain will lead their way in the north london derby.
