Arsenal join the race for Liam Delap

According to Football Transfers, Gunners have joined the race for Liam Delap. They have added the 22 year old to their striker wishlist alongside Ollie Watkins. Andrea Berta has a new transfer plan ready and will make moves accordingly this summer.

The Italian has made it clear that Arsenal need to win. Hence, he prefers to sign a well experienced striker instead of young striker. But, he does rate Delap highly whom he considers a key backup for main striker. In addition, the 22 year old will have good resale value in the market.

The new transfer strategy suggests that Arsenal can sign two striker this summer. They will have one prove goalscorer like Gyokeres or Watkins as the main striker. On the other hand, they will sign a young player like Sesko or Delap as a backup striker. Lastly, the report also states that Sesko is no longer the top priority of the club although he still has admirers internally at North London.
