As of now, Gunners have Alexander Isak as their top priority. But, it will be so hard to sign him as his transfer fee can go as high as £150 million. Hence, Arteta may turn to his previous target who is much younger and in superb form.

The star in question is Benjamin Sesko who Arsenal tried to sign in summer 2024. But, the deal failed and the Slovenian opted to extend his contract at RB Leipzig. However, he is once again on move and top clubs will surely snatch him this time.

Gunners are still keen to sign Sesko and may make a move this summer. But, they are not alone in the race as their London rivals Chelsea also stay interested. In addition, one top Spanish club has also joined the race now.

El Nacional Cat have reported that Atletico Madrid have joined the race for Sesko. They have added that Diogo Simeone has given the green light to sign Sesko. The Argentine coach wants to improve his squad despite the top form of his club this season.

Someone plays with 2 strikers in his system. Hence, Sesko can form a deadly partnership with Julian Alvarez. Both of these striker can secure the future of Atletico for a long-term due to there young age. It will be interesting to see which jersey Sesko prefers to wear next season.
