Cordero is viewed as a bright future due to his superb attacking traits. He has already scored 3 goals and assisted 3 in 12 league games this season. In addition, the 18 year old has also played for Spanish under-19 team two times so far and scored 1 goal too.
Mikel Arteta has shown interest in lot of Spanish players in recent seasons. He can lure Cordero away by explaining the long term project. Cordero can become a long term replacement for Gabriel Martinelli.
