Arsenal wanted to sign 17 year old English star on deadline day of January transfer window. However, they were unable to do so but it has not stopped them from keeping close tabs on youngster.
Gunners had very quiet summer transfer window. They failed to land any new face due to various reasons. Infact, they failed to make offers for any players except Ollie Watkins. But, it is revealed now that they did make enquiry to sign one young player.
According to Football Insider, the North London club made enquiry about Jaden Dixon. The enquiry was made on deadline day of transfer window which is why it was hard to progress further in the deal. But, the 17 year old is still on Arsneal’s radar.

Gunners are still showing interest in Jaden Dixon. He currently plays for Stoke City whom he joined from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023. He signed his first ever professional contract in May 2024 which is a three year deal.
Dixon has played for multiple youth levels for Stoke City. He has also done the same for England national team. This season, the 17 year old player his first match for Stoke’s first team. As of now, he has 6 professional appearances to his name.
Dixon plays as centre-back but is also adaptable as right-back. He can be easily convinced to join Gunners. However, Mikel Arteta will test him in youth stages first before making him first team player. As for Stoke City, they will be ready to part ways for a fair transfer fee.
Gunners have shown a very good response with young players recently. They already have Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri as their regular first-team members. This will motivate Dixon to do the same and join the list at North London.
