Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign 28 year old Arsenal star. The star is also looked upon by Serie A giants Inter Milan who are preparing an official bid to sign him this month.
The star in question here is Oleksandr Zinchenko who joined Gunners in 2022 from Man City. He was excellent in his first season at North London. However, the Ukrainian is now being linked with exit.
Arsenal prepared to sell Oleksandr Zinchenko
Zinchenko played 33 matches for Gunners in his first season. He did play more in his second season, but was no longer regular starter. Often time, he was replaced by Jakub Kiwior or Takehiro Tomiyasu.
This season the condition has worsened for Zinchenko. Gunners have signed Riccardo Calafiori who is now first choice left back. In addition, Jurrie Timber is fully fit and this has decreased Zinchenko’s playing time even more.
The 28 year old has played only 11 games this season. In addition, he has started in only 3 of those. Mikel Arteta no longer trusts the former City man and hence the club is open to part ways with him.
Fenerbahce join the race to sign Zinchenko
Earlier, Inter Milan were said to be preparing an official bid to sign the 28 year old. Gunners are ready to let the fullback leave for a fair price. Inter were also keen to sign Jakub Kiwior but the North London club wants to keep the Polish defender for little longer.
Now, Fotospor have reported that Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign Zinchenko this month. The Turkish club are still to find a quality replacement for Ferdi Kadioglu who left the club in summer.
Lastly, Arsenal are also open to listen offers for Gabriel Jesus who too arrived from City at the same time with Zinchenko. The Brazilian striker has also fell down the pecking order likely to move away from the Emirates soon.
