Arsenal optimistic about Bukayo Saka return

Arsenal are keeping high hopes about the return of their key superstar. However due to the seriousness of the situation, no concrete update can be given at the moment.

The star in question is none other than Bukayo Saka. Saka has been the best player for Gunners this season. In addition, he is even considered as one of the best players in the world right now.

The 23 year old started this season in a superb fashion. He missed some games in between due to injury he suffered while playing for England national team. Other than that, there have been only positives about Saka.

Saka has so far scored 9 goals and picked 13 assists for Arsenal this season. He has played 24 games so far. Due to Mikel Arteta not having backup for Saka, the 23 year old has been forced with overload of work.

This has costed Gunners with a major blow. Saka suffered a serious injury and needed a surgery for that. He will miss many games and will surely not be able to play before the end of february.

Arsenal optimistic about Saka return

Journalist Sami Mokbel has reported that Gunners are optimistic about having Saka back in training by the final week of february. They hope that the 23 year old starts playing from March.

However, the North London club are aware of the seriousness and will not force Saka to return quickly. They will carry a proper recovery process. Saka can miss until April if the specialist thinks like that.

This should be a wake up call for Arsenal. They should now find a proper backup for the 23 year old. Saka will need proper rest and over using him may put his career in danger. The North London club will not like to see this happening.

Gunners are very likely to enter the market this month to sign a winger. They will focus on right sided winger but can also opt to go for left sided. Along with Saka backup, they are also looking for Martinelli upgrade.
