Arsenal plotting January move for €35 million rated French winger

Arsenal are plotting a January move to sign French winger who is currently rated at €35 million. The player has won several league titles across 3 European countries.

Arsenal are in desperate need to sign a winger this month. They have learnt the importance of squad depth the hard way. Due to not having proper backup options, they had to pay a big price.

Bukayo Saka who has been their best player suffered serious injury. He needed surgery and will now miss many months. This has forced the Gunners to sign his replacement mid-season.

Arsenal showing interest in 28 year old French winger

According to Football Insider, Gunners are showing interest in Kingsley Coman. They are planning to sign the 28 year old in January as replacement for Saka. Bayern Munich may be open to part ways with the France international.

Coman has fallen down the pecking order at Bayern in recent years. He is no longer the first choice winger and as a result has started only 6 Bundesliga games this season. The German giants were earlier reported to be ready to let Coman leave on loan in January.

Coman can be a very good addition to the Arsenal side. He is still 28 years old and has vast experience playing in top league. In addition, he has won league titles in every country he has played so far. He might end Arsenal’s league title drought with this mentality.

The 28 year old can play on both wings which can make him key asset for Arteta. He can be a quality replacement for Saka whereas has a chance of being an upgrade over Martinelli.

Coman is tied to Bayern with a contract running until 2027. He will also have a big say in deciding his future and hence Arsenal need to convince him in joining them.
