The French defender made his way to the Emirates Stadium in 2019. He initially struggled to get any playing minutes in the main squad. William has spent plenty of time on loan from Arsenal to other teams in his initial seasons.
Saliba has been a clinical part of the squad since 2022. He has made a total of 98 appearances in a red and white shirt scoring five goals and assisting twice as a centre-back. William has been the backbone of the Arsenal squad for some time.
The French defender had started in all the games for the North London club last season. He assisted the team in keeping 18 clean sheets last season in the Premier League. Saliba was one of the most prolific defenders in the Premier League last campaign.

Arsenal is already in a deal with William till 2027. The team still has plans to keep the defender at the Emirates Stadium for some time. The club is planning to complete all the formalities of the contract for the 23- year-old defender.
