Arsenal are now said to be ready to spend big on Viktor Gyokeres this month. Mikel Arteta has already hinted an attacking transfer this month. A major deal can be loading for the North London club.
Gunners began this season without signing a striker. They were keen to sign Sesko but were unable to do so. This resulted in Arteta making Kai Havertz his main striker. The German was decent in opening months but has bee inconsistent recently.

According to Daily Mirror, Gunners are ready to spend big on Gyokeres this month. It will require them around or more than €70 million to secure the signature of Sweden international. Earlier, the player had €100 million release clause but Sporting are prepared to agree the deal on lower fee.
Gyokeres will directly get into the starting lineup for Arsenal. He will be an upgrade on both Havertz and Jesus. The 26 year old has scored 75 goals and picked 19 assists in 80 games for Sporting since joining them in summer 2023.
Gyokeres is also being looked upon by Man United. The Red Devils are planning to reunite him with his former boss Ruben Amorim. However, Gunners can have the lead to sign him due to providing the striker with Champions League football.
