Saudi side Al Ittihad recently submitted a bid to sign Leandro Trossard from Arsenal. However, Gunners have rejected the bid straight away. They consider Trossard as their key player. Al Ittihad’s move to sign Trossard
Saudi side Al Ittihad submitted a bid to sign Leandro Trossard yesterday. According to The Mirror, Saudi side offered £4.2 million to sign Trossard on a loan. In addition they offered £20 million as an obligation to buy next year. However, Arsenal rejected the bid straight away. They informed Al Ittihad that Trossard is not for sale.
Trossard has also said recently that he is happy at Arsenal. He scored an important goal against Aston Villa in the second matchday. He came in as a substitute and did not celebrate after scoring. Media quickly said that it was because Trossard is unhappy due to not getting in starting lineup. However, Trossard spoke on a positive note after the match. He said that he is very happy to have impact and help the team. He added that the competition has made him a better player.
Arsenal boss admires Trossard a lot
Mikel Arteta handed Trossard his first start of the season against Brighton. However, he had to substitute him due to Declan Rice getting a red card. Arteta said that Trossard is not upset and does not complain for not getting to start a game. He added that the Belgian winger has a lot of quality and assured the fans that the winger is important for the club. Arsenal fans are also happy with the 29 year old winger who scored 17 goals last season.
