Premier League giants Manchester City acquired the youngster from the Brazilian club at a price tag of 27 million euros in 2017. Jesus won four Premier League titles with the current champions. He has also been a part of Pep Guardiola’s side winning three EFL Cups and an FA Cup. Jesus has scored 95 goals and 46 assists in 236 appearances for Manchester City.

The 27-year-old then made his move to Arsenal in 2022 for transfer fees of 45 million euros. He has scored 19 goals for the Gunners but he is still to find the back of the net this season. Mikel Arteta has shown faith in the Brazilian and has often put him into the starting squad.

There has been interest from Gabriel’s former club to sign the Brazilian. Palmeiras have hinted their interest in signing their former player again from Arsenal. This interest however has been declined by the Gunners as Gabriel is an important part of the squad.

No current interest from Arsenal to let go of Gabriel Jesus

Mikel Arteta has put Jesus as one of the most important players of his squad. The Brazilian has scored 19 goals ever since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium. He is still to score a goal this season. the 27-year-old has particularly blended with the Gunners and has made significant contributions to the team.

Arsenal were linked with the youngster before his arrival to Manchester City in 2017 but the deal never materialized. The Gunners did pay a hefty amount for the Brazilian but it has only proved to be a beneficial decision for the North London club.

Palmeiras president Leila Pereira was looking to sign Jesus to boost their chances in the upcoming club world. The former Palmeiras star was under the radar of the president after his recent performance. Pereira stated that the club did try to negotiate a deal with the Gunners but the offers were rejected. While talking in an interview with O Globo the Palmeras president said-

” We got in touch with Arsenal and they said there are no conditions whatsoever for the player”.
