Arsenal scouts monitoring 20 years old former Real Madrid player

Arsenal are looking to improve their attacking unit even further next year. Along with striker they are said to sign a winger and an attacking midfielder. As per the recent news, Arsenal have now started keeping tabs on Nico Paz who is in high demand.

Nico Paz started his career at Real Madrid youth side. He was born in Spain but had the chance to represent Argentina. Last week he made his international debut and despite playing only 17 minutes, picked up an important assist.

Paz had already shown his worth at Real Madrid last season. He scored an amazing goal against Napoli who gave little flashbacks of Lionel Messi. This summer, Paz joined newly promoted Serie A side Como which is guided by Cesc Fabregas.

Real Madrid sold Paz for just £5 million but do have buy-back clause present. They can sign Paz back for just £7.5 million to £9.1 million over the course of next three summers. This may prove hard to lure Paz away but this has not being able to keep top clubs away from chasing the Argentine.

Arsenal interested in signing Nico Paz along with other top clubs

Football transfer expert Nicolo Schira shared in his X account, that Gunners along with Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan are interested in Argentine sensation. Paz is a man in demand right now and over the time we may see more clubs interested in him. Since joining Como, Paz has scored 1 goal and picked 2 assists in 7 Serie A games.

Gunners have already signed one Madrid attacking midfielder and he is now their club captain. Hence, they will place their faith and try hard to sign Paz. Whereas, Madrid will not like to miss keeping a star who could go on an become as impactful as Martin Odegaard.

The move will very likely depend on what the player thinks too. At Madrid, Paz may be unable to get proper gametime. They currently have Jude Bellingham who has Arda Guler as backup. As for Como, they will like to keep their place in Serie A and hence will not like to lose Paz in january.
